    During the June 1, 2021, Regular Riverton City Council meeting, the city council recommended disbursing 1/2% sales tax funding to the Central Wyoming College Equine Center. The center held its grand opening in August of 2023.

    In Fremont County, the Wind River Transportation Authority (WRTA) is more than a transportation service or bus line, it’s a vital community link.
